Private Seating at Orchard Kitchen

Orchard Kitchen & Farm have always endeavored to be an integral part of our island community.

We seek to highlight the connectedness – from our farm to our dining room, among our guests and our OK Family – and to make all of our efforts reflect the importance we see in building relationships.

With the current uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus in our area, we have decided it is appropriate to make a change in our long-standing policy of offering communal seating in our dining room.  While this aspect of our restaurant has been a big part of who we are, we believe that at this time it is best to err on the side of caution.

In response to uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, we will be offering private tables for the foreseeable future.

In response to uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, we will be offering private tables for the foreseeable future.

Starting this week we will be offering individual seating to our guests, which means that space between guests will increase.

Traditionally, we have seated couples and groups together at long tables.  Going forward, we will seat couples farther apart and parties of 4 to 6 at their own, private tables.  In addition, we will offer our private dining room in our historic barn to larger parties so they can have the ability to dine with us in a more intimate setting.

While this change will have the effect of making conversation between small parties less possible, we hope that it will make our guests feel more at ease.

These changes will also have the effect of limiting our seating capacity. Please be advised that you should plan your next visit a bit farther in advance than you might normally.

From all of us at Orchard Kitchen & Farm, we wish you the best in this soon-to-be-Spring season, and as always, we look forward to feeding you.
